KITESURFING |
the basic course |

- will take approx, 12-14 hours over 2 days and costs £180.

- max of 4 persons per course.
|
- under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for kitesurfing. (water based day 2 only)

day 1 - land based |
| learn how to: |
- launch, land and control foil kites using 4 line handles, bar safety system, and depowerable bar, scud and use a harness.
|
- use a buggy to get used to sideways pull of the kite.
|
- land simulation of all the things you will do on the water.
|
- use water re-launchable kite and learn safety procedures.
|
day 2 - water based |
| learn how to: |
- body drag with water re-launchable kite before using a kiteboard.
|
- emergency stop on the water, safety and self rescue.
|
notes |
- all year round instruction at either weekends or during the week and advance booking is essential.
|
- if you do not have equipment: a winter wetsuit, buoyancy aid, boots, harness & helmet will be supplied.
|
- kites, boards and buggies are supplied.
|
- we use a boat to teach from and are not affected by tide or wind direction and we can move freely around torbay
|
