KITE BUGGYING

Kite Buggying and Power Kiting are easy to learn and fun to do. They are a great way to keep fit.

For most people the joy of kite buggying comes from simply using the wind as a means of traction and fun, the combination of flying modern, powerful hi spec kites with buggy speed.

Buggying has come a long way since it first started out in 1990. The latest buggies are purpose built, light, have high performance and are easy to handle.

The front wheel is steered by the pilot's feet leaving both hands free to control the kites, with practice you can steer the buggy even upwind.

Regardless of age, as long as you are reasonably fit, and have respect for the wind, it is not difficult to become a safe kite buggier. Safety of course is paramount, as many of today's 4 line kites are capable of launching you into the air with explosive power.

Courses

£85.00 for a day course

1-1 also available £125 per day (week days only)

Learn how to use a Power Kite and progress to using it with a Buggy.
Power the buggy across the wind, learn to steer, turn and stop, powering the buggy in all directions and be able to return the buggy upwind.
Try various types of powerkites.

Things you will need: Waterproofs, sun scream, sun glasses, hat, old clothes and shoes with smooth soles for scudding on the grass and also a pack lunch and lots to drink if it is hot.
Buggies and accessories available including our own especially designed harness lines, extra large splash guards and buggy side pads.
